CONCESSIONS CASHIER – (SEASONAL)

Job Title:               Concessions Worker

FLSA Status:         Non-Exempt
Salary:                   $15.00 hourly – plus tips
 
SUMMARY:  Greek Peak Mountain Resort is hiring Concessions Cashiers for the 24-25 winter ski season. This is a seasonal position that will start in December. We have flexible daytime and evening shifts available. Must be at least 16 years old with valid working papers and have weekend availability.. Employees who work a minimum of 2 shifts per week are eligible for a $15 employee season pass with complimentary rentals.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(Other duties may be assigned.)

1. Greet and speak with our guests in a professional, friendly manner.              
2. Follow established serving and food safety guidelines.       
3. Follows established policies when handling cash or running cash register.
4. Maintains orderly, clean and safe work area and storage facilities. Maintains stocked areas based on par levels, along with inventory control.
5. Performs daily opening and closing processes of the concession area.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must be at least 16 years old with valid working papers.
2. Must have weekend availability.
3. Must be comfortable operating a point of sale to check customers out.
4. Ability to read and follow safety guidelines set forth by GPMR and NYS DOH.
5. Ability to give communicate in an attentive manner with guests.
6. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
