LINE COOK – HIGH VOLUME – (SEASONAL)

Salary:                   $18.00 – $20.00 hourly (Commensurate with experience)

SUMMARY:
Greek Peak Mountain Resort is hiring line cooks with FAST PACED – HIGH VOLUME EXPERIENCE for the 24-24 winter season. Must be at least 21 years years old and have daytime, evening, and weekend availability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(Other duties may be assigned.)

  1. Prepare food by pre-described cooking methods and recipes.
  2. Follow proper food temperature guidelines.
  3. Communicates with all employees in a respectful manner.
  4. Follow established food sanitary requirements and safety precautions.
  5. Follow established weight and portion controls.
  6. Maintains order and cleanliness of kitchen and store room areas.
  7. Follows established safety procedures.
  8. Provides assistance to other departments of the resort to contribute to its smooth operation.
  9. Prepares food in a timely, consistent manner in order to ensure customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  1. Must be at least 21 years old
  2. Must have daytime, evening, and weekend availability
  3. Minimum of 2 years culinary experience
  4. Efficient, well organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously
  5. Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational
  6. Able to show initiative and make decisions
  7. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms
  8. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  9. Willingness to work a varied work schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
