Scavenger Hunt…
Prizes will be given to the first ten people who complete each hunt listed below. One prize and one bonus award per participant. (All photos must be time-stamped after 9 am on the day of the open-house event.)
Details on how to play…
HUNT #1: take five selfies with five different on-duty patrollers.
Rules: photos must be out on the mountain, not at our patrol base building. If a patroller would not prefer to have their photo taken, ask them to have their back to the camera.
HUNT #2: take five selfies with five different ski patrol “buildings.”
Hint: GPSP has 15 “buildings” spread out from Odyssey to the top of chair 5.
Rules: “Buildings” must be clearly recognizable; two of the photos must be from East Mountain (chairs 4 and 5); three from West Mountain, the main operations side (Visions Quad, chairs 1, 2 and 3).
HUNT #3: take five selfies showing a way to summon (call) a ski patrol response to an emergency.
Hint: could be an GP employee (guest services, ski school, lift operator, on-duty patroller, etc.), or could be a pic at our base building, or could be a pic with one of our signs showing our phone number. If the GP employee would not prefer to have their photo taken, ask them to have their back to the camera.
Rules: see above rules in Hunt #1 and #2.
BONUS: Show us that you have the Greek Peak Ski Patrol direct emergency phone number programmed into your contact list on your phone.
Once you complete your scavenger hunt(s), bring your phone with (digital) photos to the Ski Patrol top shack building between 11 am and 2 pm on the day of the event, for judging and prize award.
…see you on the slopes..!!
