Start a School Program

Starting Your Club

Thank you for joining Greek Peak Mountain Resort for a great ski/snowboard season.  Here are some steps to follow to get your Program off to a great start:                          

1.Choose a Day:

  1. Select a day and time frame that you would like to bring your group.  Programs days are Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

2.Select your Program Advisors and Chaperones

  1. You can have one lead advisor for each school (Elementary, Middle, and High School).  You can have one co-advisor for each school.  You can also have one official chaperone for every ten students that ride your bus.
  1. Select Number of Weeks
    1. Select if you want your club to have 2 or 4 weeks of lessons
    2. Grades K-2: These grade levels will always select the 4 weeks of lessons price

i. Season pass holers will have the option to purchase 4 lessons for $46.00.

ii. K-2 Students are required to be accompanied by a chaperone during the program.

iii. K-2 advisors are responsible for organizing the chaperones and setting the ratio.

  1. Grades 3-12: Select either 2 weeks of lessons or 4 weeks of lessons

i. Season pass holders will have the option to purchase either 0,2 or 4 lessons. 

ii. Lessons are held during the first 2 weeks of the program for the two week option. 

iii. Lessons are held during the first 4 weeks of the program for the four week option.

  2. Lessons are held during the first 4 weeks of the program for the four week option

4.Complete Registration

  1. Complete and submit the Program Registration form to Kimberly Thayer no later than October 2, 2017.  Registration will open for your program as soon as this form is received and all necessary updates are completed.  If you submit your registration form prior to October 2nd we will create and print flyers that includes all of the information that you need for your program to distribute to the students in your area/school. 
  1. Start Promoting
    1. Start promoting your club as soon as possible
    2. We are able to provide flyers in which you can disburse to every student in every classroom, any club you are affiliated with, your local grocery store, PTO meetings, everywhere!
    3. If a student is interested but has already bought a Season Pass, we have options for them to be able to come with your group. 
    4. If you require additional marketing assistance, please contact Kimberly Thayer.  We will coordinate with Greek Peak’s Marketing Team to setup a fun assembly at your school.
      1. We would gladly come to any Open Houses or PTO meetings etc. to help promote and increase signups for your program. 

6.Student Signup

  1.  Provide the online registration instructions to students and parents and have them sign up to come have fun!
  2. Payments in full must be made prior to the start of the program.  Any participant that has not paid in full will not receive their program pass until the full balance has been paid.  This includes partial or full payments made by the school district or sponsoring group.
